Winter Session 2015
UMBC winter session offers students more than 100 required and general education (GEP) courses - including many hybrid and online courses. Build your transcript and earn the credits you need to graduate during a condensed, focused, academic session. Session runs January 5-23.

Summer & Winter Sessions
Summer and Winter Sessions are a great opportunity for UMBC and visiting students to get a jump start on graduation requirements, lighten fall/spring course loads, and focus on courses that need extra study time. Students can earn up to 16 credits during Summer Session (May-August), and up to 4.5 credits during Winter Session (January). UMBC also offers Summer STEM, an initiative to help UMBC and visiting students stay on track with their STEM curriculum by offering a variety of STEM courses.
